Plutarch

Modern bust at [[Chaeronea]] intended to represent Plutarch, based on a bust from Delphi once identified as Plutarch, but now no longer Plutarch (; , ''Ploútarkhos'', ; c. AD 46–120), later named, upon becoming a Roman citizen, Lucius Mestrius Plutarchus, () was a Greek biographer and essayist, known primarily for his ''Parallel Lives'' and ''Moralia''.
