A Taste for angels : Neapolitan painting in North America, 1650-1750.

Works of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Neapolitan figure painters in North American collections. Many of these artists specialized in religious subjects. Four of the painters most popular in America also worked to decorate the abbey of Montecassino and its Baroque church.
