Chester Himes

Part of a memorial to Himes in Moraira Chester Bomar Himes (July 29, 1909 – November 12, 1984) was a black American writer. His works include ''If He Hollers Let Him Go'' and the Harlem Detective series. In 1958 he won France's Grand Prix de Littérature Policière. Provided by Wikipedia
