Richard E. Caves

Richard Earl Caves † (born 1 November 1931, Akron, Ohio) was an American economist, and Emeritus Professor of Economics at Harvard University. He is known for his work on Multinational enterprises, on industrial organization, and on the creative industries. He is known within the motion pictures economics field as the author of a definitive book on the organization of the creative industries titled, ''Creative Industries: Contracts Between Art and Commerce.''
